Coming from the entertainment market, working for and running clubs for more than 30 years, Rubens Peterlongo owns one of the most iconic clubs in Brazil called Trackers also kindly known as Trackertower , a 10 store building in the heart of the city of São Paulo where a lot of arts and technology manifestations started, such as freeware electronic music classes, videomapping, and many, many parties always with participations of artists from all over the globe. Where João Pedro also joined bringing his tech and music knowledge, organising parties and founding a hackerspace.
Then the pandemics reached and brought with it the urgency to work online. As they saw all the mess around they came up with the brilliant idea of DISCO, a music platform where the artists are able to engage with their fans and still have a lot of fun as at Trackers' golden age.
Always with the eye on the independent circuit creating a vanguard movement of new blood and the best minds, bringing creativeness to the audiences from all over the world. A place where the people can find a lot of new music straight from the underground and can be up to date with the best productions, be it Cumbia, Electronic Music on all it’s genres , Rock, Indie, Bossa Nova, Pop, Jazz you name it and you’ll find at DISCO.
