As an artist on DISCO, you have the opportunity to monetize your music. To facilitate payments, you are required to create a Stripe Connected Account through Stripe Connect. This account enables you to receive payments directly from your music sales on DISCO.
By creating a Stripe Connected Account, you agree to comply with the Stripe Connect Account Agreement, which includes Stripe's Terms of Service. It is important to read and understand these agreements, as they outline your legal responsibilities as a payment receiver on the platform.
We encourage you to set up and manage your account responsibly, keeping in line with Stripe's policies and guidelines. Failure to adhere to Stripe's terms may result in suspension or termination of your Stripe Connected Account and, consequently, your DISCO artist account.
As a fan on DISCO, you have the ability to support artists by purchasing their music. Payments for music purchases are processed securely through Stripe Checkout, providing a seamless and secure buying experience.
When you make a purchase, your payment details are handled directly by Stripe's secure payment system. On DISCO you pay for the hability to download at the exact moment of the transaction - everything else like downloading from your library are extra features that DISCO provides that could be taken out at any time if required by the artist.
DISCO does not store your credit card information or have access to your payment details. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Checkout User Terms of Service.
We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable shopping experience. If you encounter any issues during the payment process, please contact our support team for assistance.
While we cannot guarantee complete data integrity during this beta phase, DISCO will make reasonable efforts to address any reported issues or data loss incidents to the extent feasible within the limitations of our beta program. We strongly encourage users to provide feedback, report any concerns, and engage in open communication with our team, as their input will be invaluable in identifying areas for improvement and enhancing the DISCO platform prior to its official launch.
